VALANCE OPTIONS


The options with custom awnings are only limited by your imagiation and the creativity of our experienced staff. While this image shows the two most popular types of valances (rigid valance on the left, scalloped loose curtain on the right), we will be happy to design a custom application just for you. Loose valances are available in a straight hem or a scallop as illustrated in the image above.

COLORS
Our trained sales professionals are ready to help you select the fabric style and color that best suits your project. With more than 200 colors and styles available, the expert eyes of our team are priceless. Our incredibly durable fabrics are designed for many years of use and color retention and include five- to ten-year prorated warranties against rotting, fading and mildew. Most fabrics will continue to maintain a high quality look and function for 8-10 years.

SHED
Shed awnings are the most common style due to their highly adaptable basic structure. With changing the pitch, adding a valance or perhaps curving the front bar, the shed awning has the ability to fit nearly any project and any structure.

CONCAVE
Concave awnings get their name from the way the body of the awning curves back into the structure to which it is mounted. This style can create a wonderful effect and can add an interesting architectural addition to your property.

CONVEX
The convex awning is also commonly referred to as a "waterfall" awning. To be precise, a "waterfall" would be a standard convex awning, with the addition of a tall rigid valance.

Both the example to the left and the example below feature a rigid valance. But the example below features a much taller valance and takes advantage of that area to a create an eye-catching sign panel.

ENTRY CANOPY
The example to the left is shown with a tall rigid valance, and custom side panels create a more weatherproof application.

The example below has more of a dome feel to the shape, and again features a tall rigid valance that could provide for excellent signage visibility.

DOME
The primary example on the left is the traditional dome awning. Tried and true, this awning style has been around since the early 1800's.

The example below is often refeered to as an "Elongated Dome" due to the shape of the ends, or "wings".

GABLE
Gable awnings feature a triangular shaped top that projects out from the wall.
